OEM & ODM Bridal Accessories

Start with what you need to change. An existing design, a modification and a new design need different information before feasibility, samples and a quotation can be reviewed.

Choose your purchasing route

Use the scope of the work to choose a route. OEM / ODM terminology alone does not define what is included; confirm the actual design, development and production responsibilities in writing.

RouteWhen it fitsWhat to sendWhat to confirm
Existing designYou want the listed SKU and catalogue option without a design change.Product URL or SKU, catalogue option, pieces per style, destination and required arrival date.Current availability, exact specifications, quantity basis, packaging, price and dispatch date.
Modify an existing designYou have a starting SKU and want a change, such as dimensions, ribbon, finish or packaging. These are requests for review, not a list of guaranteed options.Starting SKU, annotated reference, precise change list, dimensions and target quantity.Feasibility, material availability, revised minimum quantity, sample work and any tooling or development charges.
Develop a new designYou have a reference or drawing that needs a new design and production review.Your own or authorised reference, drawings with units, target materials, finish, quantity and budget if available.Design responsibility, development scope, sample revisions, costs, ownership / exclusivity and production requirements.

Prepare a useful design brief

Provide the items below that you already know. Mark undecided details as open questions; a sketch can be reviewed without inventing a final specification.

Starting point
Existing SKU and catalogue option, or your own / authorised reference image. Identify the exact feature to retain or change.
Dimensions and materials
Units, measuring points, stone / pearl description, base metal and finish preference. Describe missing requirements as questions.
Quantities and packaging
Pieces per style and colour; whether an item is one piece or a set; packaging, label and logo requests for feasibility review.
Destination and dates
Destination country and delivery location, required arrival date and any fixed event date. State dispatch and arrival separately.
Project boundaries
Target budget if available, sample purpose, approval contact and any ownership / exclusivity request. These terms need a written agreement.

Agree what the sample must confirm

Before authorising bulk work, agree a sample approval record that identifies the exact version. The points below are a confirmation checklist, not a claim about an established factory inspection procedure.

  1. Confirm the brief and sample quotation

Record scope, dimensions, materials, quantity basis, sample charges, freight, timing and revision terms before sample work starts.

  2. Review the identified sample

Check the selected SKU / revision, measurements and tolerances to agree, net weight basis, colour / finish, attachment and intended fit. Photos cannot establish every property.

  3. Record changes or approval

List each requested change and the next version. Agree whether another physical sample is needed, what it costs and who gives written approval.

  4. Confirm the bulk order separately

Refer to the approved sample version and final specifications; confirm quantity, packaging, price, payment, production conditions and dispatch arrangements. Approval does not itself reserve stock or capacity.

What changes the quotation

Ask for a quotation that separates the product price from project and logistics costs. No standard fee, free-sample entitlement or fee-credit policy is established here.

Product scope

Design complexity, components, materials, finish, dimensions and quantity per style / colour affect the scope to quote.

Development and samples

Confirm design work, tooling if needed, sample making, revisions and sample freight. Ask whether any cost can be credited; no automatic credit is promised.

Packaging and delivery

Confirm requested labels / packaging, packing quantity, destination and shipping method. Ask which freight, duties or other destination charges are included.
